CAST is a fishing companion app: log catches, identify species, read conditions and tides, find marks, and share with other anglers. You need an account to use it, you must be old enough to hold one in your country, and you are responsible for what you post and for keeping your login details to yourself.

• CAST is free to download. Every account requires an active CAST membershipafter setup to use the app. Accounts created before this change may retain access under their existing terms.
• CAST offers monthly and annual auto-renewable plans. In the UK the intended prices are £5.99 per month and £39.99 per year; the storefront price shown before confirmation is authoritative. Eligible new subscribers to the monthly plan only receive a seven-day free trial. The annual plan has no free trial.
• On iPhone and iPad, Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The exact price is shown in the app before you confirm and varies by country.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing and cancelling: after purchase you can manage or cancel in your device's App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Monthly free trial: eligibility is determined by the storefront. If an eligible subscriber cancels before the trial ends, the plan does not renew into a paid month. The purchase screen always shows whether a trial actually applies before confirmation.
• On the web, Pro is sold through Stripe and managed from your account on the CAST website. Pro bought on either platform unlocks Pro on both.

Purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase are handled by Apple, and refund requests go to Apple rather than to us. Purchases made on the web are handled by us — write to support and we will deal with it fairly.

You keep ownership of the catches, photos and posts you upload, and you grant us the permission needed to store and display them in the app. Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or that you have no right to share. CAST has in-app blocking and reporting, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Conditions, tides, bite forecasts and species information in CAST are estimates from third-party data and models. They can be wrong or unavailable. Do not rely on them for navigation or for decisions about your safety, and follow local rules, licensing and conservation laws wherever you fish. You fish at your own risk.

We may update, change or withdraw features over time, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. If we make a material change to these terms we will update this page and the date below. Continuing to use CAST after a change means you accept the updated terms.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, which permanently removes your account and its data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
